When not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, walking Pepper, camping and boating in the summer, watching tv shows and movies, reading historical fiction, playing games, and practicing guitar.
I started my private practice here in Langley in 2009. Before that, and for sometime after, I was working as a staff therapist and Clinical Director at Cares Counselling in Abbotsford, where I provided supervision and oversight to 12 therapists and 2 interns. Early in 2015 I felt it was time for me to resign my position there so that I could devote myself full-time to my Langley clients.
I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from UNBC in Prince George. My Master's degree is from TWU in Clinical Counselling and Marriage & Family Therapy. Since 2011, I have been doing part-time studies for a doctoral degree in Psychology, which I'm hoping to complete in the next few years.
